Forging Hammers
Our main production machinery comprises of drop forged
hammers for the capacities of 1/2
ton and 1 ton (for
forgings lightweight articles of 100g to 5kg) 1 1/2 and 2
ton hammers (for forging articles of 5kg to 20 kg)
depending upon the shape and size of the products.
Die Design & Development
The design and development of the dies hold the key to
blemish free forgings.Our design & engineering
capabilities are ably backed by well equipped die shop set
up
along modern lines with double spindle copy milling
machines, Spark erosion die sinking machines, Radial drilling
machines, Plano millers, Lathes, Tools & Cutting grinders etc.
Quality Control
The care that goes into the design of each die also goes
into the selection of raw material and sequence of operation
that follows. Our fully equipped chemical and physical
laboratory ensures stringent quality control measures. The
product is tested for physical, chemical and metallurgical
properties, thereafter inspected and analyzed mechanically
by high precision equipment. All these qualities have helped
us to grow quickly into a premier steel forgings unit,
capable of producing forgings with close dimensional
tolerances.

Over
the years company has achieved a capability for absorption of
machinery technology as prevalent in any comparable
industry. The machine shop has latest machinery to produce

CASTINGS We have developed a sound infrastructure
to assist the manufacturing products of specialized grade
S.G.Iron Casting, C.I. Casting Grades etc .
Melting facilities with a inducto thermal induction furnace,
well organized machine shop, well established testing
laboratory for microscope, hardness testing facilities etc.
The products are manufactured by using superior quality raw
material CRCA, Pig Iron, Copper etc.
STAMPING
Capacity at S.S. Engineering Works includes metal stamping
and fabrication that provides customers with assured
competitive and financial advantages. Our stamping is
cost-saving, and competitive from a production perspective
on new and existing parts and can hold most critical
tolerances.
HEAT TREATMENT Our heat treatment facilities are self sufficient for most
of the specific heat treatment needs in accordance to the
requirements. All products being heat treated are checked &
inspected at all levels of process to ensure that final
product confirms the specifications. The heat treatment unit

SURFACE COATING
We have full service surface coating facilities for
providing high quality rust free parts and components. All
the surface coating & process are done in accordance to ISO
DIN or any other desire standards. The capacity encompasses:
